Dealer Addendums, or dealer add on items, are pure profit for the dealer and make it very difficult to negotiate. This dealer initially refused to negotiate on the pin striping, paint protection and upholstery protection stating "they are already on the vehicle and cannot be removed" even when it was pointed out that these items had not yet been added to the vehicle. Watch out for this. Nitrogen in the tires is another fluff item, that gives no real value to the customer (unless you drive 200 mph and live next to the dealer for refills) but is difficult to negotiate the cost.
Know exactly what factory incentives are available and how they will be applied before you negotiate. I did not, and realized at the final signing that I had been negotiating the price of the vehicle with $500 of my own money as part of the deal. The incentives were explained differently to me by the salesman, the sales manager, and finance manager. I suspect it was intentional, but cannot prove it. In the end it is my fault but I feel a bit deceived.
Check every inch of your car, every option, button, and device before you take delivery. There are at least two salesmen that don't know the product line well enough to spot problems. The rear sonar warning system on my truck kept turning itself off, and I questioned these guys if it was working correctly prior to taking delivery. Of course they said it was operator error.
The truck has still not been repaired. The sales staff has dumped off to the service department and my truck is currently in their shop. The service department has been kind enough to give me a free rental car while they try to diagnose and repair the sonar system.

The Folks at Baytown Nissan were very professional during my visit and purchase of my new car. I would recommend them to my family & friends. They made me feel important and I valued their dedication and time spent getting me into a new car.

Terry Massey, our salesman, is a fantastic asset to Baytown Nissan. Theresa Scott was our Internet contact and couldn't have been more pleased with the way she handled things via Internet. Was glad Terry introduced us. Our experience was a good one and will recommend Terry Massey and Baytown Nissan to everyone. I fail to remember our finance officers name but I can tell you he and his wife are expecting their first baby, a little girl, in July. He is a great guy as well. We didn't meet anyone we didn't like. The gentleman, John I think, showed us things about the car. Terry Massey set us up with each of these people. We really appreciate our experience with Baytown Nissan and Terry Massey. Thank you all very much.

I would consider not purchasing another vehicle from the Dealer. They have dropped the ball on 3 important issues with me. Not having a second key available when I picked up the vehicle. My wife had to go back home and get the original key for me to drive home. Some one should of had a second key for me. How did they drive it around to the front of the building when I had the other key??? I had to come back on Saturday to get the extra key. They should of done a complete inspection of the vehicle before I received vehicle. There is a paint chip that should of been seen about or told me about before I was to drive off. I, the customer brought it to there attention when I picked up the vehicle on fri. Make ready, salesman, somebody should of took the responsibility to look into. I felt like here are your keys, thank-you and goodbye. The also wanted to give me a can of touch up paint and wanted me to apply. Touch up paint would not of fixed the problem, due to it was to the metal. I went to pick up my extra key on Saturday, why wasn't it ready? Why did the customer have to wait 45 minutes on a dealer issue. They told me they would call me Monday to schedule a paint repair and order a part for the broken mirror. I went back on Tuesday to have then fix a mirror issue and reminded them(salesman and service dept) To this date and time I have not received a call from them to schedule the chip repair. I understand that this is a cheap vehicle and the dealer did not make that much money on, however this is a NEW vehicle, not a used one. There Customer Service it terrible. Someone there needs to look at it from all issues and take care of the customer and be RESPONSIBLE. They are reactive instead of being proactive!!!! There reactive skills are poor as well.
